Thanks for stopping by our new website! We hope you find it easier to navigate, read and find the information you need.
There are three areas of the new site that I’m particularly excited about:
1. Our New Logo
First up, we have a new logo. Our old one (affectionately known as the “swoopy T”) was great for its time, but we were due for a change. This new logo is cleaner, and the lines in the middle serve as a subtle homage to the connection many of our clients have to Boeing, not to mention my own days as a pilot.
The lines are modeled after a turn coordinator, a tool that can be found on any pilot’s dashboard. It helps the pilot keep the plane straight and steady and also helps them perform smooth turns.
This strikes me as a fitting illustration of what we aim to do for our clients at TFS. As you work toward the future you want, we want to help you stay on course and make smooth changes when the need arises.
2. The Photographs
The new site features several photographs of sites around Washington state. If you look close enough, you might recognize some of the sites.
I’m always bragging to people from other areas about the scenery of Washington, and we thought there would be no better way to get to know us than to display the beautiful scenery in which we work and play. I’m especially proud of these photos of Washington as I took many of them myself over many years of flying around the state.
3. The Blog
This is the inaugural post for the TFS blog. Going forward, you can expect to see at least two articles every month on financial planning and/or investing, in addition to other updates including upcoming client events, office musings, and other news.
We will kick things off in two weeks with our first series, “Preparing for the Flight of Your Life,” which will give an in-depth discussion of how you can prepare for retirement. Make sure to check back here soon. If you want to make sure you don’t miss any of our updates, enter your email address in the “Subscribe” box in the right sidebar of this page and we’ll send you an email when we publish something new.
That’s it for now. Of course, the new site has several other changes, so take some time to click around and see it for yourself. If you have any comments or just want to chat, head over to the new and improved contact page and send us a message.
